Nathaniel Mah

Founder

Nathaniel Mah is a former National Ski Team athlete turned sports marketing and communications specialist with deep expertise in partnership strategy, acquisition, and activation. Over the past eight years, he has worked across Canada’s high‑performance sport system, leading digital content, media relations, and sponsor deliverables for organizations such as Nordiq Canada, Biathlon Canada, the Canadian Olympic Committee, and the Canadian Paralympic Committee.

His career has centred on helping athletes tell their stories and strengthen their value to partners. Nathaniel has managed partnership portfolios, negotiated deliverables, built activation plans, and created content that drives measurable impact for both athletes and brands. He has also supported athletes on the world stage as a Media Attaché at multiple World Championships and Paralympic events, navigating media strategy, crisis communications, and brand representation under pressure.

At Underdog, Nathaniel brings together his lived experience as an athlete and his professional background in partnerships, digital media, and storytelling. His athlete‑first approach ensures that every athlete he works with not only gains representation but also learns how to understand their value, build their brand, and show up confidently in front of partners. He believes in opening doors and making sure athletes know exactly how to walk through them.
